Herding cats and gearing up around them

I don’t really know how to herd cats. I do know that doing what we do is challenging when you have…..studio cats! Many Thanks!

First, we would like to thank everyone who has supported our business; whether by purchasing a piece of art, taking time out of their busy schedules to come and see us at an event, or sharing our posts. Everything you do support independent artists like us is greatly appreciated. We’ve listed these (and other) fun, handmade resin pendants on our Etsy site! We’ve added a couple of new shows to our schedule! We’ve been incredibly busy creating new art to bring to you; whether it’s in person or online. Here’s where you can come see us: December 1st, Thieves Market

Reid Park coming up this weekend!

The holidays are a really exciting time for me creatively speaking. We have shows booked every weekend through the end of the year and I really put a lot of pressure on myself to have new pieces for every show. I have to thank my old boss Kaia for showing me how to work well with a strict deadline. She would be at work before the sun came up and I’d show up I don’t know, 6:30 AM or so. She would’ve walked the entire bookstore figuring out what had to be done that day. Then she would come up

If you signed up for our mailing list, either online, or at the event don’t forget to use your coupon code here! We’re in the process of setting up a youtube channel. We’ll be posting videos of works

Are you bothered?

When one works for themselves, you look to those who came before you. There are lots of artists that offer us inspiration. The ones who succeed, we take what they have learned and try to apply those lessons to what we are doing. The ones who aren’t, well, we take that experience and tuck it away to remember and also remember a good idea, poorly done, is just as bad. There is so much to juggle. Not only making the art you want to sell, but also the booking of shows, the advertising, marketing, promotions, blogging, emails, etc. We’ve been doing this full time for
